Through Memory Lane
This unconvential book design was an exploration of color and material. Pushing legibility, I played with colored vellum as a medium for book pages. Conceptually, this speaks strongly to the layering and complexities of emotional relationships to places I’ve lived in for varying amounts of time. Layering of image, text, but also color mixing was exciting, especially because when looking at the books in different conditions, they looked completely different, making every experience unique. I created packaging that was reminiscent of a filing folder, to take care of my memories and experiences in a collective way.
